Marvin Bergsneider, MD
Professor and Residency Program Director
Congratulations to Dr. Marvin Bergsneider on his 1000th endoscopic, endonasal operation!
Over the past decade, Dr. Bergsneider has transformed the UCLA Endoscopic Skull Base Program from its nascency into an active, multidisciplinary surgical program treating a wide variety of pathologies, including but not limited to pituitary adenomas, Rathke’s cleft cysts, meningiomas, craniopharyngiomas, chordomas, encephaloceles and CSF leaks, esthesioneuroblastomas, and other sinonasal malignancies. Working with his neurosurgical colleague Dr. Won Kim, their Ear Nose and Throat colleagues - Dr. Marilene Wang, Dr. Jeffrey Suh, and Dr. Jivianne Lee, and their ophthalmologic colleagues Dr. Robert Goldberg and Dr. Daniel Rootman, the UCLA Endoscopic Skull Base team continues to deliver patient tailored care to address pathologies of the pituitary and skull base in a minimally invasive manner.
